1. What is my TQI number?

You TQI number is a six digit number found on your TQI Registration Card.
You can access the login page by clicking the 'Back to Login' button at the bottom of this page.

2. What is my password?

If you have forgotten your password or require it to be reset, click on the 'Forgotten Your Password?' link available on the login page of the TQI Portal. You will be required to enter your TQI number, given name and family name exactly as they appear on your TQI registration card. You will then be sent an email with instructions on resetting your password.

This email is usually immediate. If you do not receive an email within 10 minutes, it may have been filtered in to your SPAM folder or be because you have not updated your email address in the portal. You will need to contact TQI to change your email address for you.

3. Does the TQI Portal work in all browsers?

The TQI portal is regularly tested to ensure that it operates successfully on all commonly used browsers and mobile devices. However, if you are using Internet Explorer 10 or 11, you may experience difficulties if you do not have ‘Compatibility’ enabled. Refer to questions 6-8 to find out more about using these versions of Internet Explorer.

If you do not want to enable compatibility, choose a different web browser where available.

Ensure that the internet browser you are using has been updated to the latest version (eg. Chrome V60 or higher) lower versions may cause performance issues.

4. I get the words 'Required!' when I click submit

Seeing the words 'Required!' against both login fields after you click 'Submit' means that your version of Internet Explorer does not have compatibility view settings enabled. Refer to questions 6-8 for more information about compatibility view settings and determining the version of Internet Explorer you are using.

5. Nothing happens after I click submit

Information being automatically cleared after you click 'Submit' means that your version of Internet Explorer does not have compatibility view settings enabled. Refer to questions 6-8 for more information about compatibility view settings and determining the version of Internet Explorer you are using.

6. Am I using Internet Explorer 10 or 11?

Click the Tools/Settings icon found in the top right corner of the browser. This will give you access to a small menu, look for and click on 'About Internet Explorer'. The window that opens will contain information on the version of Internet Explorer you are using. On some browsers, you may have a 'Help' option just below the address bar, clicking this will enable a menu with the option to click on 'About Internet Explorer'.

7. Enabling compatibility in Internet Explorer 10

There are numerous methods of enabling compatibility in Internet Explorer 10. These are the three most commonly used options:

1. In the address bar of your browser, look for and click on the icon that resembles a torn page. The page should refresh itself after you click it and you will now be able to log in to the TQI Portal.

2. If you do not have the torn page icon on your browser, click the 'Tools' menu, usually found below the address bar. You may have to press the 'Alt' or a combination of 'Alt + T' key(s) on your keyboard for this to be displayed.
A new menu will become available - look for and click 'Compatibility View Options'. A new window will open up, ensure that 'act.edu.au' is filled up in the first field and click 'Add'. Once the address has been added to the second field, click 'Close'. Refresh your page by pressing F5 on your keyboard. You should now be able to log in to the TQI Portal.

3. If the 'Tools' menu is not available on your browser, click on the Tools/Settings icon found in the top right corner of the browser, this icon resembles a Gear/Cog. A new menu will become available - look for and click 'Compatibility View Options'. A new window will open up, ensure that 'act.edu.au' is filled up in the first field and click 'Add'. Once the address has been added to the second field, click 'Close'. Refresh your page by pressing F5 on your keyboard. You should now be able to log in to the TQI Portal.

8. Enabling compatibility in Internet Explorer 11
